Pakistan Crisis
The growing crisis in Pakistan is somewhat disquieting at the moment, with Musharraf saying some noble things about free elections within a couple of months and yet, not only arresting and detaining opposition members, but also senior judges.
It is a difficult situation, esp as Pakistan is a volatile country and Musharraf's actions could be interpreted as pouring petrol on a small, but growing fire. One certainly hopes not.
Another concern is that, in the midst of this minor chaos, how things stand with the small, put notable group of Christians who have already faced persecution from hardline muslim extremists, one hopes and prays that they, and other minority groups who are persecuted, will not suffer as a consequence.
